3D Orthotic Printing
We are very excited to announce the arrival of our very own 3D printer!
Here at ‘The Abbey Chiropody & Podiatry Clinic’ we are always trying to find new ways of providing top quality treatments for our patients, this is why we are introducing 3D Orthotic printing.
3D printed orthotics (insoles) are superior to other orthotics due to the quality materials that we use to print our orthotics.
Whats so good about them?
Long lasting - these are expected to last for up to 10 years in comparison to other orthotics
Premium quality and plant based filament used to print our orthotics
Custom made - our 3D insoles can be fully customised to suit you, whether that is:
The Colour
The ‘perfect’ fit under your arch
Taking pressure off painful areas of your feet
Waterproof - suitable for athletes, walkers, as well as those with sweaty feet
Suitable for people living with Diabetes
If you have a sore area(s) on your foot then the orthotics can be modified to take pressure off that area and make walking comfortable
Heel pain - such as plantar fasciitis
Arch pain
Tired or achey feet
Big toe joint / bunion pain
The applications are endless - please contact us if you have any more questions
What are ‘Custom made Orthotics’?
Custom made orthotics are bespoke insoles which are moulded, designed by a Podiatrist and printed to the shape of your feet, these are for optimum comfort and can be useful when taking pressure off a painful area of your foot (for example a corn) or correcting foot position / alignment
Ready Made Orthotics?
Ready made orthotics are made and printed without any modifications and are useful for basic arch support, these are printed with the same premium quality plant based filament
